Dr. Ken Ycmat currently practices in Los Angeles. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles and was honored with the Clinic Excellence Award. He focuses on practical physical performance, whether you’re a professional athlete, weekend warrior, or rehabbing from an injury.
Dr. Ycmat spent 3 years at the Executive ER in Beverly Hills working alongside board-certified emergency physicians, experienced chiropractors, and physical therapists. This experience helped to further his education in the treatment and rehabilitation of acute and chronic sports injury.
He then partnered with John and Deborra Liddy at Liddy Health and Fitness and Elevation Fitness. At Liddy, he worked with APLA Team to End AIDS marathon team, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training Marathon and Iron teams and AIDS/Lifecycle to help with sports injury and to help improve performance of these athletes. He also had the pleasure of working with RockTape at the California Crossfit regionals and the National Crossfit games for 3 consecutive years.
In 2016, he purchased Liddy Health and partnered with Studeo Gyms. Here he continues to provide chiropractic, sports injury rehabilitation, general physiotherapy and work in sports performance in a high-end athletic training facility.
Dr. Ycmat continues in his athletic endeavors. He is a former martial artist and gymnast. He has been cycling for the last 4 years and participates annually in the California AIDS/Lifecycle, a 545-mile charity bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles.
